- BIOGRAPHY -
I was born in Rome,
where I studied Sociology
at La Sapienza University and Photography & Visual Arts
at European Institute of Design.
In 2008 I started travelling,
focusing on social issues and subcultures.
Currently I live between Rome and Kingston where I am carrying on my personal long term project about jamaican life style.
In 2011 I founded JSP, the Jamaican School of Photography (http://www.jamaicanschoolofphotography.com/ ),
under the patronage of the Italian Consulate in Jamaica and in collaboration with
the nonprofit organization “Stand Up for Jamaica” (http://www.standupforjamaica.org/),
to help and introduce Kingston ghetto youth to the world of photography.
My pictures have been published in many magazines and websites such as: BURN Magazine, D la Repubblica, The Big Issue Australia, The Times, Aftonbladet, Witness Journal, Vice International, Riddim Magazine, Il Manifesto, Alias, Fotografijos ratas, Freak, Itiwa, Kult Magazine.
